SKMA’s Top 10 Drum & Bass Tracks

We caught up with SKMA to hear their top 10 Drum & Bass tracks.

1. DRS & LSB – The View (ft. Tyler Daley)
Hands down the best track of the year. We’ve played this a lot in our sets and it featured on our summer mixtape. Wicked tune with two outstanding vocals.

2. Air K & Cephei – Duality
Playing this tune at a pre party on a balcony before hitting Ayia Napa town in mid summer was a fond highlight. Proper hands in the air stuff.

3. Keeno & Whiney – Dignity Found
A cracking piece from Keeno’s “Preludes EP”, these two lads are amongst the finest young musicians on the scene at the moment.

4. James Marvel – Outlife
A wonderfully intricate roller that both sits excellently in the mix, and is a pleasure to listen to from beginning to end.

5. Friction & Technimatic – Floating Frames
Technimatic are at the top of their game and this track is no exception. With Friction in collaboration, it’s simply stunning.

6. Mob Tactics – Neon God.
Something a bit less pounding from these guys but no less brilliant. We saw them play a wicked set out of an Ice Cream van on a Funktion One system in a field in 2011!

7. Tough Love – So Freakin Tight (S.P.Y Remix)
The original is a peak time house track that uses a classic vocal. As expected, Brazilian legend S.P.Y’s take on this is nothing short of epic.

8. Noisia – Incessant
Ruthless dancefloor killer from the Dutch maestro’s. Does exactly what it says on the tin, if this track was any longer it might just do permanent damage!

9. Lynx – Clap Track
As bizarre as it is brilliant, the ultimate in rollers. This track works a treat in the mix at any point, one of those rare simple sounding tracks that packs a whopping punch.

10. The Clamps – Nerves
For us, this has been the best track to start an absolute riot on the dance floor with this year. Mosh pit central – simply get involved or get out its way!
