With the mighty due gracing us with another devastating collaboration on Viper Recordings we caught up with the guys to find out what other top colabs they are feeling….
MEFJUS – TOP 5 COLABS:
Noisia & Amon Tobin – Sunhammer:
Well, i don’t think there’s much to say, 2 of my favourite producers of all time just went all in on this one.
Phace & Misanthrop – Progression:
I could name countless collaborations of those crazy germans. Whenever they decide to work together something special is the result.
Hive & Gridlok & D-Bridge & Break & Silent Witness – Standing Room Only
Amazing track with the most collaborators I’ve ever seen, imagining they all have been in the studio together i can see where the track title comes from …
Method Man – Straight Gutta (feat. Redman, Hanz On, Streetlife):
A great example for collaborations in hip-hop is Method Man and the whole concept of the Wu-Tang Clan in general. This one is taken from Meth’s new Album “Meth Lab”
Metallica – Nothing Else Matters (feat. San Francisco Symphony live)
For their S&M project in 1999 Metallica did a concert with the San Francisco Symphony which is another great example of multi-genre-collaborations and its amazing result.
INSIDEINFO – TOP 5 COLABS:
Break – Don’t Look Down (Ft. Calyx & Teebee)
Absolutely love this track, Can hear a bit of everybody in there, The bass just bubbles along so well and the whole thing has an amazing organic feel. One of my fav tracks to drive to!
Noisia & Phace – Floating Zero
This tune is just alien, so bizarre yet so funky. my brain still can’t really handle that weird beepy sound.
Keaton and Hive – The Plague
I think dnb is ready for the return of both Keaton and Hive, Miss classic vibes like this perfect roller.
Cause 4 Concern and Fierce – Carrier
amazing minimal track with loads of energy that works perfectly as a mixing tool. love this!
Die and Break – Slow down
soulful and powerful vocal, with an absolutely minging bassline, Love it when these 2 collab.
