Catching up with Sub Zero

No stranger to the scene, Sub Zero is back on the legendary Playaz imprint and delivers a strong package of solid club destroyers. We caught up with him to hear about his new productions and what he’s up to this summer.

How are you doing? What have you been up to lately?

I’m doing good thanks. I’ve been busy moving house and studio from Leicester to London which has been quite exciting and stressful. Also been djing a lot and writing new music.

The new EP on Playaz is banging! What can you tell up about the tracks?

Thanks really pleased you like it , we’ll all the tracks are collaborations with artists that I think are strong and also good mates haha. It’s just good fun writing music with your mates. Hopefully that comes across in the EP. I also feel there’s a nice variety of styles of DnB in this EP.

What’s your favourite time of the day in the studio?

My favourite time for the studio is probably when I have breakfast and then go up to my studio and turn everything on and sit there with a cup of tea and Listen back to what I’ve been working on. Love that!

When you’re not making music, what’s going on in your life?

When not making music I spend time training and exercising keeping fit. I like spending time with my girl friend, going on holidays going out for dinner watching movies just the usual stuff.

What’s the plan for the summer?
Loads of djing over the summer plenty of festivals including main stage exit festival, one dance festival  in London plus American tour and loads more. On the production front I’ve got a few new secret projects on the go 😉
